At Optimum we strive to achieve “optimization”, the match of available resources (human, technology, financial) with the needs of our organization in order to achieve established goals.  Optimization consists in achieving desired results with minimum usage of the resources (costs, time, energy etc). In simple words we optimize everything we do, behaviour, quality, costs, energy, efforts but most importantly effectiveness.

We are driven by our values but imprinted in our DNA there are values we are really proud of:

1. Integrity and Honesty. We do what’s right, working with integrity, practice ethics daily, fair and honest business dealings, having no tolerance for bribes and improper payments, being open but at the same time protecting ourselves, our customers, our environment, our company. We are a really trustworthy ship-Owner Manager with strong track record and completely open books.

2. We encourage Straight talk, we believe in honest, no-nonsense interaction and communication. To share openly our every day’s tasks, ideas, emotions, likes and dislikes. This is not easy as people avoid telling the truth when the truth needs to be told. Straight talk does not mince words, insists on accountability, respects the dignity of others and is guided by a clear sense of ethics. How we do business is of equal importance as what we do. We may be reluctant to speak our minds for fear of reprisal or because we want to be nice. Yet the cost of such reticence can be high. If managers can’t get honest feedback from their employees, they make poor decisions. If employees can’t get honest feedback from their managers, they don’t improve, and their poor performance costs the organization time and money.

3. We actively promote Diversity at work as we believe is the key to innovation and growth.
